Chef Fonzo hosting exclusive wine dinner: Acclaimed Chef Kevin Fonzo will host a St. Valentine's Day Dinner with Ribera del Duero and WineDos.com on Friday, Feb. 16 at 6:30 p.m. at The House Kitchen located 26 E. King St. in Orlando. Guests will enjoy a master class with the winemaker from Ribera del Duero as well as a full-course dinner. Live music will be provided by a jazz quartet. Florida mom banned from child’s school campus due to OnlyFans decal: A mother from Lake County in Central Florida said she is no longer permitted to drive on campus due to a decal promoting an OnlyFans account. Local bakery wins 2024 Mastercard Foodies and Fairways competition: Charlie’s Bakery and Creamery in Curry Ford West has won the 2024 Mastercard Foodies and Fairways competition. Small businesses protest Winter Park noise ordinance: Winter Park leaders have decided to keep a ban on gas-powered leaf blowers as part of a noise ordinance, which goes into effect this summer. Small businesses owners are complaining that would be expensive to switch to fit the ordinance. Penalties have been delayed to 2025. (clickorlando.com)
Elderly couple accused of stealing nearly $400 in goods from Sprouts grocery store: An elderly couple in The Villages stands accused of stealing around $400 of goods from Sprouts Farmers Market at 330 S Buena Vista Blvd. Police are searching for the suspects who allegedly took $390.42 worth items into their SUV before taking off from the store.
