2 Orlando restaurants make Yelp’s Valentine’s Day dining list: Review giant Yelp has released its "Top 100 Romantic Restaurants for Valentine's Day Dinner" and two Orlando area restaurants are on the list. Magic defeat Timberwolves 108-106 on Friday night: The Orlando Magic beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 108-106 on Friday. The Magic are tied for 8th place in the Eastern Conference. The Magic have not made the playoffs in 4 years or won a series since 2010. The Central Florida team continues to make its move towards the playoffs. Next the Magic will face Detroit on Sunday. Universal Orlando opening hotel inside upcoming theme park: Universal Orlando is planning to open its first-ever in-park resort for guests called the Helios Grand Hotel. The hotel will allow guests to check-in directly from the theme park and head right into its upcoming Epic Universe park. The 500-room Mediterranean-themed hotel is expected to open next year in 2025. (insidethemagic.net)
Local businesses hope NFL Pro Bowl at Camping World will boost sales: The NFL Pro Bowl on Sunday at Camping World Stadium in Orlando is expected to draw thousands to the area. Local businesses nearby hope to benefit from the surge of visitors. Jason Kelce of the Philadelphia Eagles was spotted at Magic Kingdom on Friday as the big event approaches. “Walk a Mile in Her Shoes” happening next week: Harbor House of Central Florida is hosting its annual event called "Walk a Mile in Her Shoes" that draws awareness to domestic violence and raises money to help victims on Feb. 8 at 6 p.m. The walk will begin at the Orange County Courthouse.
